Shortly after you open the pantry and peer in to the fridge, you understand you're totally having that banana bread for breakfast. There's no stopping you. You're craving it Right now.
That was my circumstance a week ago and it ended with me enjoying two thick pieces with peanut butter on top. Plus a few clean strawberries, chia seed products and large chunks of dark chocolate. Because antioxidants, right?
Today's banana loaf of bread involves you with a wonderful new flour I came across: Chickpea flour! Or also called Garbanzo Bean flour. It noises weird, but suspend with me for an instant while I describe_
So I am wanting to experiment with chickpea flour for many factors: It's inexpensive, nutritious, packed with fiber and protein & naturally gluten free. Each serving of chickpea flour packages an impressive 6g of proteins and 5g fiber. SAY WHAT? It's actually a protein goddess. You'd also end up being surprised to listen to how the flour is normally slightly sweet too, which means that it was an easy task to scale back on the sweeteners in the formula.
So where can you purchase chickpea flour? Sadly it's rather a little difficult to acquire unless you have a wellness foods store in your area or even a grocery store with an excellent gluten free of charge section. You can even buy it on-line here

I actually made this bread and brought it to 1 of my favorite personal trainers, but didn't tell him it was made out of chickpea flour. He stated the breads was amazing!
Tony also ate several pieces with peanut butter on top for dessert. He LOVED it and confirmed that it tasted exactly like regular banana bread. Having a sweetheart who'll try anything is actually a blessing.
Chickpea Flour Banana Bread (gluten free of charge!)

Ingredients
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups chickpea flour (garbanzo bean flour)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup blueberries
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 levels F. Line an 8x4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper and squirt with nonstick food preparation spray.
In a moderate bowl, whisk jointly chickpea flour, baking soda, cinnamon and sodium; set aside.
In a big dish, combine bananas, honey, vanilla extract, eggs, coconut oil and apple cider vinegar; mix until well mixed and creamy. Add dried out ingredients to moist ingredients and combine until just combined. Fold in virtually any of the optional add-ins to create your own edition of this delicious bread. I highly recommend nuts & delicious chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared pan and clean top. Bake for 40-50 a few minutes or until tester placed into center happens clean. Remove from oven and put on wire rack to great for ten minutes, then properly invert, remove bread from skillet and place back on wire rack to cool totally. Cut into 12 pieces.
Nutrition information is based on banana bread only, without additional add ins.
You can even bake this into muffins, adjust the baking time to 20-24 minutes.

I just made your paleo coconut flour banana breads on Mon and I just have one cut left. O_O oops! It's SO good.
We managed to get today! I put promised baking towards the three yr old, then discovered we were from all-purpose flour. We had chickpea flour readily available, which explains why I googled and ended up right here. We made mini muffins, and ate half of these straight out of the oven.
We actually remember my mother cooking a chickpea flour dessert and assumed this might resemble that. It didn't. Simply ordinary delicious banana loaf of bread.
